Short Lead Sales and Event Executive – Maternity Cover

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Event Executive responsible for Short Lead business to join our team to cover maternity leave for a minimum of six months.

The position will report to the Head of Event Management and the Head of sales

About the role

Key tasks will include;

• Working within the Sales and Event Management Teams to ensure successful delivery of short lead (within 8 weeks’ time period) business at the venue

• To grow proactive sales of the venue short lead business, enhancing the standard of events and increasing the incremental sales spend of the event

• Proactively working with event organisers to achieve a successful event ensuring that the Ricoh arena is the venue of choice for short lead business

• To operate and maintain the venue booking system (Delphi), produce detailed Event Function sheets and P&Ls ensuring the highest standards of accuracy within a set time for customers, staff and management information

• Collecting all event feedback from clients post event to achieve successful rebooking of future events

Event Management Admin Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Planning Assistant responsible for Short Lead business to join our team to cover maternity leave for a minimum of six months.

The position will report to the Head of Event Management

About the role Key tasks will include;

  • General Administration for Events – Menu Tent Cards, Tariffs, WiFi, Menus, Table Numbers
  • Managing Exhibition Orders, recording and processing
  • General Administration for Events – Menu Tent Cards, Tariffs, WiFi, Menus, Table Numbers
  • Completing Banquet Event Orders for Internal Meetings for IEC, Compass, ACL and Wasps, ensuring BEO’s are sent to the booker for sign off and confirmation of PO Number
  • Collating Client Feedback Forms into presentation document for the Monthly Board Meeting
  • Christmas Administration – Documenting pre orders, sending out tickets, completing table plans and collating feedback
