Staffing Apprentice

Our busy HR and Staffing Department are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team to help support and deliver day to day staffing, recruitment days and large scale events. The successful candidate will be allocated a number of duties for them to manage and develop and will involve some autonomy. This role is a fantastic insight into the staffing of the Hospitality and Events industry and will cover all aspects of Staffing, Recruitment, Payroll and HR administration.

The successful candidate will be requird to work 5 days out of 7, hours dependant on business needs. Generally 9am-5pm, and will progress to Staffing Assistant at the end of their apprenticeship.

Candidates must be aged between 18 and 24.

Exhibition and Conference Steward

The multi award winning venue the Ricoh Arena Coventry, is currently recruiting for event stewards.

You must be at least 18 years old and ideally you will have previous stewarding or customer care experience, however this is not essential as there is on the job training.

Security SIA Blue Stripe

We are currently recruiting for Security Officers. The role of the SIA Licensed Door Supervisor is to ensure the safety and security of people, equipment, premises and property. You will be responsible for security and crowd management requirements of high profile events, maintaining a good corporate Image and a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Store Person

We're looking for an ethusiatic person to join our team as Store Person at the Ricoh Arena, working 5 out of 7 days.

The successful candidates role will be the day to day management of all back of house systems and areas within the arena. Ensuring that all stock is managed and controlled in the most efficient way to achieve financial objectives.

Commis Chef

Our in house Bistro is are currently recruiting for can do, passionate Commis Chef to join our team and help us deliver a truly memorable dining experience for our guests. The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following:

• Support the Kitchen Brigade with preparing and delivering food items to a high standard.

• Support the Head Chef with developing the menu

• Ensure area of responsibility is correctly prepped.

• Ensure the Kitchen is kept clean and tidy

• Adhere to all food hygiene policies.

Kitchen Porters

The state of the art Ricoh Arena, Coventry is currently recruiting for Kitchen Porters helping to ensure the smooth operation of the back of house team.

This role can be physically demanding and may involve long hours. If you have a “can do” attitude, are committed to providing a high level of service and would like to become a part of our Back of House team, we would like to hear from you.

Bar Team Member

We are currently recruiting for Hospitality Bar Team Members to work in our prestigious dining areas at the state of the art Ricoh Arena.

You will work as part of our corporate team within our fine dining restaurants, executive boxes, lounge areas and corporate bars to deliver service excellence to our corporate clients.

Event Steward

We are currently recruiting for event stewards. You must be at least 18 years old and ideally you will have previous stewarding or customer care experience, however this is not essential as there is on the job training. Excellent verbal communication skills and a common sense approach are essential. An aptitude to working with the public, a friendly, approachable and professional manner are all important but, above all, flexibility is key.

Part Time Waiting Staff

We are recruiting for event and non-event day waiting staff to deliver the high standards of customer service the Ricoh Arena has to offer. You will be committed to delivering service excellence, have a “can do” attitude and maintain the highest level of professionalism.

You will work as part of our Hospitality team within the Arena to deliver service excellence to all of our customers.
