Adidas unveil "The Albert" at the Ricoh Arena
"The Albert"
Manchester United and England star Tom Cleverley made his second trip to the Ricoh Arena and had plenty of time on the ball.
He said: "I played here when England under 21's played Macedonia. It's a really nice stadium and bigger than I thought."
The midfielder was at the Ricoh alongside Olympic gold medallist Jonathan Edwards to help Adidas unveil the new London 2012 Olympic football, The Albert.
Cleverley is a strong candidate to be picked for the Euro 2012 squad this summer, however if he doesn’t head to Poland or the Ukraine, then a place within Team GB is well within his grasp.
The Ricoh Arena will be known as the City of Coventry Stadium for the duration of the games when it will host 12 matches, including a Bronze Final on the 9th August 2012.
