Jacky Isaac to take the reins at Ricoh Arena
Jacky Isaac has been appointed Interim Chief Executive of Arena Coventry Limited (ACL), the company that manages the Ricoh Arena.
Isaac, currently Managing Director of IEC Experience and Human Resources Director for Arena Coventry Limited, has been appointed to the role while a permanent replacement is recruited for outgoing Chief Executive Daniel Gidney.
A senior member of the Ricoh Arena's management team, she will provide continuity in the day-to-day running of the business.
Gidney is leaving the Ricoh after six years at the helm, having helped position it as one of the leading business, entertainment and sport venues in Europe.
Chair of the ACL Board Nicholas Carter said: "We are fortunate to have such a high calibre team working at the Ricoh Arena that Jacky can step up to fill Daniel's shoes while we recruit a suitable replacement.
"Few people know the business like Jacky, and she will provide first class management and continuity throughout the transition.
“It's very much business as usual at the Ricoh Arena, and Jacky and her team will be continuing Daniel's work to position the Ricoh as a world-class destination for business, entertainment and sport."
Bidding farewell to Gidney, he added: "We are hugely grateful to Daniel for his time at the Ricoh Arena. He has done a great deal for the Arena and the city of Coventry and we wish him all the best with Lancashire County Cricket Club.”
