Stars of the X Factor 2011 are heading to the Ricoh Arena
The Risk’s Charlie Healy will be performing in his home city along with his band mates at a concert at the Ricoh Arena.
The X-Factor finalists from last year’s series will be playing an intimate gig for 650 fans in Hall 5 in the Live Level on Wednesday, August 29.
Tickets go on sale on Monday (June 18) to see Charlie, who attended Coventry’s Stoke Park Primary School, sing live along with Derry Mensah, Andrew Merry and Ashford Campbell.
The Risk will be joined by special guests London-based streets band Luminites and four-piece pop and dance group NVS, who are currently supporting JLS on their 4D Tour.
Lisa Fisher, marketing and partnership manager at the Ricoh Arena, said the band has gone from strength to strength following their appearances on the X-Factor.
“Charlie and the rest of the band members shot to nationwide fame during the eighth series of the X-Factor and it is fantastic for him to be returning to his home city to sing at the Ricoh,” she said.
“He has already Tweeted that he can’t wait and I’m sure fans of The Risk feel exactly the same.
“The end of the X-Factor has not meant the end of the dream for Charlie and the others because they have been busy touring the UK and we look forward to welcoming them to the Ricoh Arena.”
Tickets are priced at £10 plus booking fee and are on sale now from www.theticketfactory.com or by ringing 0844 338 0338. Cash sales are also available from Coventry City’s ticket office at the Ricoh Arena.
