Four Nations Tournament - 5 November 2016 – Double Header
England v Scotland – 5:30 pm
New Zealand v Australia – 8:00 pm
The venues and fixtures for the 2016 Four Nations tournament have now been confirmed. This is the second biggest international Rugby League tournament to come to the UK in five years. Breaking new ground, Ricoh Arena will host its first-ever international Rugby League event since opening in 2005 when England meet Scotland and Australia play rivals New Zealand in an international double-header.
Following on from the success of their International Series win against New Zealand, who are ranked No.1 in the world, England will be looking to beat their southern hemisphere rivals when the two teams meet for the first time in two years on home soil.
The Kiwis will be looking to avenge last year’s Series loss to the Wall of White and retain the top spot in the world rankings.
Six venues will be used during this year’s Four Nations. England are returning to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to take on current World Cup holders Australia and the final will be played at one of the most iconic stadiums in world sport, Anfield.
