JAKE QUICKENDEN TO GIVE WASPS THE X FACTOR AT FIRST GAME AT RICOH
Wasps have today announced that Jake Quickenden will provide the pre-match entertainment at the Club’s first game at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday 21st December when they welcome Aviva Premiership Rugby rivals London Irish.
The singer – who appeared on The X Factor and finished runner up on the recent series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – will perform a selection of pop songs ahead of Wasps first game at their new home in Coventry. The reality TV star will be part of a bumper package of entertainment on the 21st December including fairground rides, musical acts, ice sculptures, a children’s activity area and Coventry’s very own Lady Godiva.
Demand for match tickets has been high for Wasps historic first game with a crowd in excess of 22,700 already expected at the Ricoh Arena. The all-time record for an Aviva Premiership Rugby home ground match is 24,000 set by Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.
