Monster Jam
8 Jun 2019
One of the world’s biggest live motorsport events will be roaring its way into Coventry as part of a limited run of UK dates.
Monster Jam®, the larger-than-life sport that always leaves you entertained, is bringing its action-packed live show to Ricoh Arena’s stadium bowl on Saturday 8 June 2019 for a day of jaw-dropping stunts and unforgettable entertainment.
The Coventry-based venue has been chosen as one of a few UK locations to welcome the unexpected, unscripted and unforgettable motorsports event, which is organised by Feld Entertainment – the American production company responsible for popular shows such as Disney On Ice and Marvel Universe LIVE!
Expert drivers will compete in both exhilarating championship racing and gravity-defying freestyle competitions over the course of the evening. Spectators will see the mammoth vehicles perform wheelies, donuts and big air stunts.
Monster Jam trucks are 12-feet-tall and weigh up to four-and-a-half tonnes, and are powered by super-charged engines that generate more than 1,500 horsepower.
They have been known to reach as high as 35 feet in the air at Monster Jam’s thrilling live shows, and can only be handled by the most skilled and experienced of drivers.
