The British International Open 2019 is an international weightlifting competition taking place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 7, 8 and 9 June 2019. It is an IWF Bronze event and will act as a qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The competition is made of several different competitions including; British Senior Weightlifting Championships, British Para Powerlifting Championship, BWL British Masters Championships and the British Development Open. The competitions will seek to celebrate the success achieved by all generations involved in Weight Lifting across the world.
Athletes ranked within the top 8 of their category will compete against one another to be crowned British Champion. Elite international lifters will also be competing throughout the weekend.
Visitors to this event on Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June are being offered a discounted car parking rate of £6.00 per vehicle per day. This discount is only available on car parking spaces that are pre-booked online with a discount code that is entered at checkout.

Should you choose not to pre-book car parking on Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June, onsite parking will be offered subject to availability at that time and will be £25.00 per vehicle with payment on arrival. In the event the onsite car parking is full you will be redirected to an affiliated offsite car park, alternative charges will apply. Pre-booking will help to guarantee your place onsite.
Please note should you be attending on Friday 7 June car parking does not need to be pre-booked and payment will be off tariff at the venue pay machines.
