One of the largest gatherings of existing and potential residential surveyors is heading to the Midlands this March.
Ricoh Arena in Coventry will play host to the Residential Surveying Careers Fair on Thursday 19 March and will include exhibition stands and presentations on a range of topics relevant to surveyors from across the country and those considering the career.
The event is organised by Sava – an industry body which provides education in the surveying sector.
The fair will run from 10am until 4pm and provides an excellent opportunity for anyone who already works in or is looking to get into the residential surveying industry.
Hilary Grayson, Director of Surveying Services, of Sava, said: “We are excited to bring the Residential Surveying Careers Fair to the Ricoh Arena.
“The event provides the opportunity to attend a technical conference, network with colleagues and visit an exhibition which includes various surveying services.
“It includes small and medium firms looking to recruit as well as surveying services such as report writing, software solutions, RICS, Lionheart, Rightmove and Landmark Information.”
Speakers at the fair, which is in its fourth year, include John Baguley of RICS, Giles Smith of SDL, Alan Appleby of Bluebox and Larry Russen of Bluebox.
Around 400 delegates are expected to attend from right across the UK and Caroline Lissaman, Head of Events at Ricoh Arena, said it was another example of what a draw the venue is.
She said: “We are pleased to welcome Sava and the UK’s surveying sector to Coventry in March.
“Ricoh Arena is one of the most versatile conference and exhibition venues in the country and the fact that it is so well-located makes it the perfect choice for national companies.
“It’s also great for the regional economy that we continue to draw major national events such as this to the city on such a regular basis.”
